Tuesday’s Tech Tumble: DigitalOcean, DoorDash & Palantir Lead the Sell‑Off

Tuesday’s Tech Tumble: DigitalOcean, DoorDash & Palantir Lead the Sell‑Off

Tuesday’s market open gave plenty of pain. Here’s a quick rundown of today’s biggest losers:

Digital Ocean (DOCN) -7%

Even after topping Q1 estimates—with revenue of $211 million (+14% YoY) and non‑GAAP EPS of $0.56 versus the Street’s $0.42—DigitalOcean gave Q2 guidance that barely edged the consensus. Management forecast revenue of $215.5 million–$217.5 million (vs. $217.1 million expected) and non‑GAAP EPS of $0.42–$0.47 (vs. $0.47 consensus). The slightly cautious outlook—alongside increased capex for new data‑center build‑outs—prompted a modest sell‑off, with shares slipping about 10% on the day

DoorDash (DASH) -7%
Even a surprise acquisition splash couldn’t steady DoorDash shares. After reporting GAAP earnings of $0.44 per share on $3.03 billion of revenue, DASH gave cautious EBITDA guidance for Q2—well below the street’s expectations. The freshly announced $3.86 billion purchase of Deliveroo also raised questions about mounting costs and overseas integration risks, dragging the stock down roughly 7%.

Palantir (PLTR)  8.3%
Palantir’s Q1 beat on revenue (up 39%) and raised full‑year outlook wasn’t enough to offset profit‑taking. The stock broke down from a double‑top pattern, and with many funds crowded into the name, today’s unwind knocked PLTR about 8.3% lower in early trade.
